IGI-2 master server are gone long days ago with GameSpy after that no more server to play igi2 multiplayer. But in present you can play igi2 multiplayer with Homecoming Launcher with Homecoming server . Homecoming make alive igi2 again so thanks up Homecoming for thinking about igi2 lovers . We played with Homecoming server before that’s was so awesome there was so many players, Sometimes we need to wait for join Homecoming server cause player capacity was 32. We still want back Homecoming server without lagging ,smooth like before.
Master server totally banned from gamespy ,qtracker etc but still keep server through Homecoming and many many thank you SNIPER bro who has great mind and thoughts about us .A Master server manages data ingestion and availability, The Master Server is a meeting place that puts game instances in touch with the player clients who want to connect to them. The master server just tells clients which servers are available to play games on.
I.G.I-2 master server is the single host in a particular domain that maintains the authoritative maps with all stream servers. Also i miss the old times game own server to play though igi2 own exe but Homecoming server feel still like before.
